As it has already occurred in the past, clones of RuB valves are being offered on the market once more, nevertheless those are completely unrelated to our company and production range.

We hereby inform you that:

‐ None of our product lines has been lately discontinued,

‐ RuB produces on a regular basis its complete range,

‐ No change in series designation has been made,

‐ No production move out of Italy has ever been planned,

‐ Our products are of 100% Italian origin, produced in our plant in Ciliverghe di Mazzano (BS) Italy with state of the art equipment and processes and going through our unique 100% 24h seal test!

Any letter, fax, e-mail or whatever written or verbal communication released by anyone giving contrary in- formation, is false and we reserve the right to take legal action against it.

We continue producing and dispatching our products in five continents and we ask you to please contact us in case you face any trouble in sourcing our products through your traditional channels. Through the years RuB improved the service and shortened lead times for direct shipments from Italy; an extensive network of professional distributors has been built to meet local stringent requirements.

Valves with design SIMILAR to RuB may not assure you the performances you are used to, that are granted through the years of experience and continuous improvement. Quality of ball valves depends upon engineering, extensive testing, choice of materials, tight tolerances, cleanliness, reliable inline tests.

Obviously, RuB cannot be held responsible for damages caused by products which are not made by RuB!

RuB COMPATIBILITY Table

RuB COMPATIBILITY Table:

 one useful  instrument to support your customers from A (as Acetaldehyde) till Z (as Zinc Sulfate!)

We are quite often asked about specific applications by our customers, questioning whether our valves are suitable for a certain use. The answer is sometime very easy to give according to our knowledge and experience, 

provided the question is very clear and the fluid, working/ambient temperature and working pressure as well as any specific information related to the application is noted.

For example, it’s clear that a brass ball valve can be suitable for certain use at 50°C while it cannot be at 300°C, or it can be used with 6 bar, while it can be perhaps  risky to use it at 50 bars; therefore, when asking about application suitability, temperature and pressure always have to be taken into consideration.

Provided  temperature and pressure rates are kept as indicated in the relevant datasheet, then of course the main topic is the fluid, which might also influence the pressure rating and temperature range.

The list of fluids that can pass through a ball valve is indeed extensive, and your customer may even use valves for an application you wouldn’t have ever thought about…    

In this case, the RuB compatibility table supports you by showing whether the materials used in the ball valves are compatible with the specific fluid: the table shows the rating of each material, with evaluation ranging from  ‘excellent (compatibility)’ to ‘do not use’.

S.31 mini ball valves for actuation

FOCUS ON: S.31 mini ball valves for actuation

As  you are certainly aware of, RuB recently introduced the s.31 mini ball valves for actuation in the production range.

S.31 mini ball valves are available from ¼” to ¾” with BSP, NPT and BSPT threads; with  a very compact design, they can be assembled in very narrow spaces and are sold at a very competitive price.

The s.31 minis can be very easily assembled on the COMPACT POWER mini actuator, it only takes a couple of seconds to click the valve to the actuator and to secure it with a spring (video to be added).

Now, thanks to an adapter flange, the mini ball valves can also be installed onto any other actuator having flange F03 according to ISO 5211:

In addition to that, we are pleased to inform that our s.31 minis very recently received WRAS approval for drinking water!

RuB is sponsor of "I bambini delle fate" foundation. The main activity of this foundation is give a help to the childrens that are affected by Autism and Asperger Syndrome.
In cooperation with the Hospital "Spedali Civili" of Brescia, RuB is sponsor of a project with the aim to recover and restructure a medical clinic in the heart of the city and start-up a course in order to teach to parents how to communicate with own childrends.

AUSTRALIAN GAS ASSOCIATION

The Australian Gas Association renewed the trust in RuB products

RuB gas ball valves have been approved in Australia since the '90s. Most recently, in 2010, RuB decided to extend the Australian approvals to the Watermark applying to the level 1 that requires periodical auditing from the approval authority.

Since then, AGA is performing annual  factory audit with satisfactory result, below is executive summary of latest audit performed in October 2012.


"5.5 Executive Summary:
The Quality Program satisfies the AGA certification requirements to enable the certification process to continue under the Rules Governing the AGA Product Certification Scheme for Type-Tested Plumbing Products.
RuB’s Quality management System is a very mature system and is robust across all audited sections. There is a high emphasis on quality and RuB continues to maintain a high level of commitment towards its quality management systems.
AGA thanks RuB for the assistance and co-operation provided at the Audit and we look forward to our continued good relations.
