The Australian Gas Association renewed the trust in RuB products

RuB gas ball valves have been approved in Australia since the '90s. Most recently, in 2010, RuB decided to extend the Australian approvals to the Watermark applying to the level 1 that requires periodical auditing from the approval authority.

Since then, AGA is performing annual  factory audit with satisfactory result, below is executive summary of latest audit performed in October 2012.


"5.5 Executive Summary:
The Quality Program satisfies the AGA certification requirements to enable the certification process to continue under the Rules Governing the AGA Product Certification Scheme for Type-Tested Plumbing Products.
RuB’s Quality management System is a very mature system and is robust across all audited sections. There is a high emphasis on quality and RuB continues to maintain a high level of commitment towards its quality management systems.
AGA thanks RuB for the assistance and co-operation provided at the Audit and we look forward to our continued good relations.

AGA provides accredited product certification services with respect to the gas, electrical and plumbing sectors within Australia. It also provides additional certification services that are accepted by the relevant government/industry regulators.
AGA has a proud product certification history spanning over 50 years and, of course, is recognized by relevant State and Territory Regulators.  In general terms, AGA product certification is based upon an independent technical assessment of a sample product against relevant safety standards (ie type-testing) and compliance with any other regulatory requirements.  Depending upon the type of product and level of certification, regular audits to verify continued product compliance are conducted.
