RuB joins Edgenet marketing program

At RuB Inc. we have partnered with Fastenal to heighten our digital footprint on the intranet.  The Winona, MN based distributor has successfully engaged many of its suppliers to compile product data in a common format.  An external supplier Edgenet provides the platform for many manufacturers to be found through many of the most popular search engines.
In 2012 Fastenal has reported increased sales, but perhaps even more telling is the increase in the number of fastenal.com orders received.   Since May 1st – 60% more web orders, compared to the prior 6 months, have been received by Fastenal.  This type of electronic promotion will support RuB Inc. growth for years to come.
Edgenet’s Ezeedata Optimization provides essential shopping feed management for suppliers and retailers, delivering rich optimized data in an XML product feed to retailers, search and shopping engines, and other influential endpoints. Ezeedata Optimization also delivers a Google Data Feed and a Bing Product Feed directly to Google Shopping and Bing Shopping.
Thanks to this partnership our data are ready to use by our customers in their database in order to give our products information in a format smart and useful.
