s.150 – EFFECTIVE AIR VENT FOR LONG LASTING INSTALLATIONS

Air trapped in a pipeline can seriously affect system operation and efficiency; when air pockets sit in the pipes, a restriction of the flow occurs.  Movement of these air pockets can cause sudden changes in flow speed and when passing through a restriction in the pipeline, such as a control valve, usually result in surges or water hammer.  Exposure to air also accelerates the corrosion of the pipe material.  All these conditions can result in premature failure of the installation.

The s.150 air vent valve is the perfect solution when air exhaust is required. With 10 bar pressure, +110°C working temperature, the s150 effectively removes air from pipelines and can be used in waterlines, water transport lines, water storage tanks, air conditioning systems, etc...

COMPRESSION ENDS VALVES

Compression ends are highly reliable, quick to install and a much easier alternative than soldering.
Although the primary advantage of compression ends may seem to be in their ease of assembly – just slide the pipe into the valve end and tighten the nut - their real advantage is in their ease of disassembly, which facilitates ease of maintenance, cleaning and replacement.
Compression ends allow flexibility and can also be used on plastic pipe by utilizing plastic (non-metal) compression rings which are widely available at most hardware stores.
The RuB s28 and s30 valves with compression ends have many advantages.  Specifically designed with the versatile compression end configuration, s28 and s30 also offer the significant features of having their body, ball and stem, all made of DZR brass alloy in compliance with governmental regulations for valves handling drinking water.  Utilizing new technology, these valves feature the reliability and competitiveness of brass while being comparable to bronze in corrosion resistance.
