Contribution to AIRC
We are truly blessed to be in good health and want to help those that may be less fortunate during this special time of year.  Each year, 300,000 cases of cancer are diagnosed worldwide in children and teens under the age of 19.
This year, RuB will focus our philanthropic support on pediatric cancer research with the hopes that our contribution will help with finding a cure within our generation.
For many years the Italian Association for Cancer Research has been a leader in searching cures for Pediatric Cancer and with our support, we can help researchers accelerate the discovery of new treatments and give precious time to so many children depending on treatment while finding a cure.
Today our support will have even more impact as recent achievements are translating into new treatments that will change the future of so many children.

Contribution to COSP Mazzano
We continue with our annual tradition of making Christmas time a bit more merrier and healthier.  This year with great pleasure we have chosen to support Cosp Mazzano, the public rescue operative center of our municipality Molinetto of Mazzano , an association O.N.L.U.S. of volunteers who provide emergency service and first aid.
Our contribution this year will be the Hygienio Sanitizer, a device that allows 360° sanitation and combines the use of warm steam and disinfectant to create a protective antibacterial film on surfaces of equipment that need sanitizing.
Our contribution will benefit the “Zero Microbial Load” program that allows volunteers to operate in an disinfected environment while allowing the patient a more protective service.

GHOSTBUSTERS MAKES ITS LONG

There really is no limit to the applications of RuB brass ball valves as
you can see in the latest Ghostbusters movie.

 

Ghostbusters 2016 makes its long-awaited return, thirty years after the beloved original movie and RuB has earned the right to be part of this mega-event with our valve installed on the famous Proton Pack!
The RuB T242D00 Brass ball valve is a prominent feature fitted on the Ghostbusters Proton Pack in the Ghostbusters 2016 movie.

 

This latest success story is worldwide evidence that RuB valves can be used to capture supernatural entities!!! What do you use our valves for?

Human resources play a vital role in the growth and continuous improvement at RuB. Our employees feel more appreciated and become important contributors to the evolution of RuB working with greater dedication and motivation.
RuB Lean Philosophy is focused on involving all employees in several educational training paths which increase their focus on the spot, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.    

 

RuB Lean Team #1 is developing an educational path for both individual and group training based on the concept that working in an efficient and cohesive way is necessary to reach common goals and makes each individual feel part of a bigger plan.
Group training courses highlight the values of each department with emphasis on ability to establish improved relationships and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors as a result of positive and efficient behavior.  Individual training is customized to reflect typical aspects of the relevant job. Both group and individual training apply to existing and new employees.
Lean training activities have resulted in increased creativity and enterprising spirit to find improved cooperative solutions which give employees a greater awareness about their role in the company.
In a world that is increasingly more competitive, it is the “excellence of people” that makes the difference.

RuB TEAM GROWTH

The summer of 2016 has been a very important and exciting time for RuB team growth!  During this time we have seen the hiring of three key individuals with demonstrated experience to support strategic roles within our company. 
In May, Paolo Nicolini joined the RuB team and will assume the newly established position of Supply Chain Manager.  Paolo received a degree in Industrial Engineering and completed postgraduate work in the Supply Chain area and has 10 yrs experience in a multinational corporation for production and components’ distribution for hydrothermal systems.  In his previous position, he developed and managed the reorganization plans of logistical flows in different areas of the company.  In his new SCM position, he will maximize efficiencies of logistical internal and external flows and in production planning according to Lean Production principles.
In June, Ludovico Beccaria joined the RuB team as Plant Manager. Ludovico received a degree in Automotive Engineering with a Master’s in Lean Production.  Ludovico has many years of experience in branch Operations within the automotive sector with international focus.
Ludovico’s experience and organizational abilities will be the perfect fit to help drive new product implementation and productivity through collaborative resources and the reorganization of production.  Ludovico will manage the purchase of new state of the art machines and equipment that will help RuB achieve lean targets and better serve our customer’s needs.
And in July, Ivan Falardi joined the team in the newly created position of Technical Director.  Ivan is an Engineer with significant experience starting with a company that performed installations for industrial automation and then with a global leader in illumination engineering where he managed the process of planning and product industrialization. Ivan's role will be critical for the planning process reorganization utilizing his Project Management skills.  
Paolo, Ludovico and Ivan represent an important step forward for RuB, where experience and tradition combined with strategic direction can forge new organizational models of managerial style.

WATER REGULATIONS ADVISORY SCHEME!

New Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS - UK)  Approval # 1609315 has been awarded to RuB valves s90, s84w and s64 valves and they will have the WRAS conformance mark required for plumbing and potable drinkable water applications.

This new certificate assures conformance to WRAS regulations on our manually operated valves – s90 and s84w, used in drinking water installations and also includes our automated s64 valve that features an ISO 5211 flange for direct mount for both pneumatic and electric actuators.

Valve Automation is becoming more prevalent in water distribution for both residential and commercial plumbing systems and RuB is ready for the ever changing needs of the market with most responsive and comprehensive solutions!

AEOS - Authorized Economic Operator – Security and Safety certification

RuB is proud to inform that, working towards continuous improvement, it has obtained the status of AEOS (Authorized Economic Operator – Security and Safety).
 
RuB is among an exclusive group of 22 companies in Italy having reached this goal. See link.

This achievement allows RuB the ability to obtain quicker customs procedures for export to several countries, and additional benefits such as the reduced shipping time, higher safety level and better communication between logistics partners.
